Having just returned from his 2005 European & American tour, fiddle player David Lee resumes his busy tour schedule in S.E. Queensland. David’s outstanding abilities on the fiddle and vocals make him a truly unique and dynamic performer. Covering virtually all styles of music from Harry Connick Junior ballads to up tempo Chuck Berry & Jerry Lee Lewis rockers, from lightning fast classics as the "Devil went down to Georgia" to slow and sensual instrumentals like Satchmo's "What a wonderful World"
Over the past decade, David has toured with the likes of Lee Kernahgan, Keith Urban, Troy Cassar-Daley, Lee Conway, Dutch Tilders and Digger Revell.
David is the lead singer & fiddle player in the ubiquitous Fiddle Me Please, who has worked in every corner of the globe in the last few years, from "Spain to Seattle", and everywhere in between!!
David Lee is a dynamic world class entertainer - an act that must not be missed.
Remember when pub bands were live and loud, as were your mates, and the Sunday session was the weekend event ?
Old Skool play all the classics from the 70’s till now (though most of the good music has already been written).
John and Garry are survivors in a fickle industry and have been playing together for more than 40 years.
They know each other backwards and this reflects in the performance - solid and tight with a great selection of music.
Both are accomplished musicians and present a professional show with dynamic guitar and vocals with the raw sound of a live band, without the over production of the live music scene today.
These are songs everybody knows and has a special memory of, delivered with the respect these hits deserve.
