Fiddle Me Please is an exciting act currently working clubs across Queensland and remote parts of Australia.
David Lee heads the line up which can appear as a duo, or with several other musicians depending on the venues' requirements, making this act incredibly versatile. David also performs solo at certain venues.
David's outstanding abilities on the fiddle and guitar make this truly a unique and dynamic entertainment experience. They cover all styles of music from current hits to old time favourites, country and rock’n’roll.
David has worked over the years as fiddle player for such acts as Keith Urban, Lee Kernaghan, Troy Cassar-Daley, Pixie Jenkins and Rusty and the Ayres Rockettes - just to name a few.
As a duo, David is joined by Kylie Barrington on vocals and percussion. Kylie fronted the duo "Fretish" until 2001 and has appeared on various television programs including "In Brisbane Today". She has also performed at the Gympie Muster, and has vocalized on countless television and radio jingles. Kylie's melodic and powerful voice is the perfect accompaniment to David's exceptional talents. Together, David and Kylie are simply unforgettable.
Fiddle Me Please has toured numerous times internationally over the past 10 years visiting countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Spain, Finland and the USA performing in festivals, beergardens, and other noteworthy venues.
This act is captivating audiences with their memorable blend of music, fun, antics and red shoes!!
Fiddle Me Please are a complete act - and not just 'another' band. Davids’ moving rendition of Billy Thorpes’ “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” can contest to that!! And after all, where else would you hear the Eagles' "Hotel California" or Blondies' "Call Me" played on fiddle?!!
