Community Support

The City Golf Club has a strong belief in Community Support. Each year the City Golf Club makes a selection of Charities and “Not For Profit” organisations, within the Toowoomba region, to be recipients of our Community Benefit donations.

The House Committee conducts raffles each Friday and Sunday evenings to directly raise funds for this purpose.

In 2012, the Club donated in excess of $88,000 to local charities, clubs and organisations.

In the past we have been the drop off point for flood affected victims, the homeless community and like efforts.

The Club has been a keen participant in the Carnival of Flowers parade for several years and will continue its community involvement in 2013.

The City Golf Club directly promotes our own sport throughout the region. The club donated $8,500, in 2012, to 16 Golf Clubs coming under the umbrella of the Darling Downs Golf Association. This will continue in 2013.
