Terms and Conditions

 

  • This promotion is conducted by City Golf Club staff.
  • Promotion runs at the above times except for during other conflicting promotions.
  • Winners will be announced via the public address system.
  • Winners must be present at all draws to be eligible to claim prizes.
  • Patrons called to claim prizes will have 2 minutes to present themselves to draw staff with identification to claim the prize.
  • Once 2 minutes have passed the called patron will no longer be eligible to claim the prize and another patron will be drawn.
  • Management decision on all matters is final.
  • Club Management reserves the right to alter or amend the promotion if deemed necessary. Any decision made will be final and no correspondence will be entered into by the Club.
  • If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs that is beyond the reasonable control of The City Golf Club and prevents The City Golf Club from complying with these terms and conditions, The City Golf Club will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation and The City Golf Club reserves the right (subject to applicable law) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend any promotion.
  • The City Golf Club Board Members, officers and employees will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with any promotion, the marketing of a promotion or use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  • The City Golf Club reserves the right to re-draw any winning prize in a promotion in the event of the following: (i) a breach of these terms and conditions (ii) the forfeiting of a prize (iii) unclaimed prizes or (iv) inability to contact the winner.
  • The City Golf Club cannot be held responsible for any communications that is delayed due to third party providers including short message service (SMS), multimedia message service (MMS), electronic direct mail (EDM) or direct mail.

 

Entry Mechanism

 

  • Physical entries are generated with eligible food and beverage purchase of $5 at POS with a valid member card.
  • Physical entries are generated by kiosk swipe, dependent on tier – Classic, Diamond, Platinum, Elite – except where otherwise specified. 1 in 3 Diamond member will receive an entry upon swiping at the kiosk. Every Platinum and Elite member will receive 1 entry per day upon swiping at the kiosk.
  • On the days of the draws – 27 March, 17 July, 16 October – every member to swipe at the kiosk will receive one entry.
  • Further entries will be awarded daily, with a maximum of 15 extra entries per day, via the Swipe-Stakes promotion. Further information on Swipe-Stakes will be detailed below.
  • Virtual entries will be earned with $10 gaming machine turnover.
  • One hour registration will apply to all virtual draws.
  • Members must register their entries for the virtual draws each draw night by swiping their members card at a members kiosk, insert their card into a gaming machine or use their card at POS.
  • Promotions are for financial members of the City Golf Club only.
  • Patrons must be 18+ to be eligible.
  • Staff members are not eligible to claim prizes in this promotion.

 

27 March – Launch Party Draw – Part 1 – 6pm to 8pm

 

  • From 8:30am to midnight on 27 March, every member to swipe at the kiosk will receive one entry, on top of any prescheduled entries.
  • Prizes will be drawn between 6pm and 8pm from the physical barrel in the foyer.
  • Prizes consist of 15 cash prizes of $500 (totalling $7,500), and 1 “Explore Your Backyard” package consisting of a $2,000 Luxury Lodges of Australia voucher and a $500 Qantas voucher (totalling $2,500). The prize pool for this draw is $10,000.
  • Patrons must have eligible entries in the physical barrel to  be eligible for the draw.
  • Only 1 prize will be awarded per person.
  • Patrons will have 2 minutes to present themselves to draw staff with identification to claim their prize. When the prize is claimed that entry is discarded and will not be eligible for future draws.
  • Once 2 minutes has passed, if the prize is unclaimed, the drawn entry is held until the end of the draw night and then put back in the barrel to be eligible for future draws.

 

27 March – Launch Party Draw – Part 2 – 8pm to 10pm

 

  • Prizes consist of 10 cash prizes of $1,000 and 10 cash prizes of $500, with a total prize pool of $15,000.
  • This part of the promotion is for City of Gold gaming patrons only.
  • Virtual entries will be earned with $10 gaming turnover. Entries accrue from 10am Monday 1 March 2021 to 10pm 27 March 2021.
  • Prizes will be awarded via virtual barrel draw, conducted through the Odyssey Promo system.
  • Between 8 and 10pm, through the Odyssey Promo system, winners will be announced. Patrons will have 2 minutes to present themselves to draw staff with identification to claim their prize.
  • Once 2 minutes has passed the drawn patron will not be eligible to claim the prize and a new patron will be drawn.
  • Patrons will not be eligible to win more than 3 times in this promotion.

 

17 July – Midway Draw – Part 1 – 6pm to 7:30pm

 

  • From 8:30am to midnight on 17 July, every member to swipe at the kiosk will receive one entry, on top of any prescheduled entries.
  • Prizes will be drawn between 6pm and 7:30pm.
  • Prizes consist of 10 cash prizes of $500 (totalling $5,000) and 2 “Explore Your Backyard” packages with each consisting of a $2,000 Luxury Lodges of Australia voucher and a $500 Qantas voucher (totalling $2,500 per package). The prize pool for this draw is $10,000.
  • Patrons must have eligible entries in the physical barrel to  be eligible for the draw.
  • Only 1 prize will be awarded per person.
  • Patrons will have 2 minutes to present themselves to draw staff with identification to claim their prize. When the prize is claimed that entry is discarded and will not be eligible for future draws.

17 July – Midway Draw – Part 2 – 7:30pm to 9:30pm

 

  • Prizes consist of 5 cash prizes of $1,000 and 10 cash prizes of $500, with a total prize pool of $10,000.
  • This part of the promotion is for City of Gold gaming patrons only.
  • Virtual entries will be earned with $10 gaming turnover. Entries accrue from 10:15pm Saturday 27 March 2021 to 9:30pm Saturday 17 July 2021.
  • Prizes will be awarded via virtual barrel draw, conducted through the Odyssey Promo system.
  • Between 7:30pm and 9:30pm, through the Odyssey Promo system, winners will be announced. Patrons will have 2 minutes to present themselves to draw staff with identification to claim their prize.
  • Once 2 minutes has passed the drawn patron will not be eligible to claim the prize and a new patron will be drawn.
  • Patrons will not be eligible to win more than 3 times in this promotion.

 

16 October – GRAND FINALE! – Part 1 – 6pm to 8pm

 

  • From 8:30am to 6pm on Saturday 16 October, every member to swipe at the kiosk will receive one entry, on top of any prescheduled entries.
  • The Major Prize Draw will begin at 6pm and no further entries will be accepted into the physical barrel.
  • Prizes will be drawn between 6pm and 8pm from the physical barrel in the foyer.
  • Only 1 prize will be awarded per person.
  • Patrons will have 2 minutes to present themselves to draw staff with identification to claim their prize. When the prize is claimed that entry is discarded and will not be eligible for future draws.
  • Once 2 minutes has passed, if the prize is unclaimed, the drawn entry is discarded and will not be eligible for future draws.
  • Prizes will be drawn in the following sequence:
    • 10 x $500 cash prizes (totalling $5,000)
    • 10 x $750 cash prizes (totalling $7,500)
    • 10 x $500 Freedom Fuel gift cards (totalling $5,000)
    • 5 x $1,000 cash prizes (totalling $7,500)
    • 2 x $2,000 Tent World gift cards (totalling $4,000)
    • 2 x $2,000 Anaconda gift cards (totalling $4,000)
    • 3 x “Explore Your Backyard” packages valued at $5,000 each and consisting of a $4,000 Luxury Lodges of Australia voucher and a $1,000 Qantas voucher (totalling $15,000)

  • Prizes consist of 10 cash prizes of $1,000, 20 cash prizes of $500, and 20 cash prizes of $250, with a total prize pool of $25,000.
  • This part of the promotion is for City of Gold gaming patrons only.
  • Virtual entries will be earned with $10 gaming turnover. Entries accrue from 9:45pm Saturday 17 July 2021 to 11pm Saturday 16 October 2021.
  • Prizes will be awarded via virtual barrel draw, conducted through the Odyssey Promo system.
  • Between 7:30pm and 9:30pm, through the Odyssey Promo system, winners will be announced. Patrons will have 2 minutes to present themselves to draw staff with identification to claim their prize.
  • Once 2 minutes has passed the drawn patron will not be eligible to claim the prize and a new patron will be drawn.
  • Patrons will not be eligible to win more than 3 times in this promotion.

 

THROUGHOUT THE PROMOTION – SWIPE-STAKES

 

There will be a bonus promotion running from 8:30am 1st March to midnight 15th October 2021 of the Great Aussie Adventure promotion – Swipe-Stakes. When patrons swipe their membership card at the kiosk, a prize could be awarded, with a maximum of one prize per person per day. Prizes are tier dependent.

Classic members prize pool consists of:

  • $5 Keno voucher                                                                              2 per day
  • Free coffee & cake at Café Gold                                                      1 per day
  • $5 Gold Points                                                                                  1 per day
  • Entry to major prize draw                                                               5 per day

Diamond members prize pool consists of:

  • $5 Keno voucher                                                                               2 per day
  • Free coffee & cake at Café Gold                                                      2 per day
  • $10 Gold Points                                                                                 1 per day
  • Entry to major prize draw                                                               10 per day

Platinum & Elite members prize pool consists of:

  • $10 Keno voucher                                                                             2 per day
  • $20 Gold Points                                                                                1 per day
  • $20 Freedom Fuels voucher                                                            1 per day

Each week the Swipe-Stakes giveaways will be tallied and deducted from the prize pool allocation by a nominated staff member. At the end of the promotion, any remaining funds will be given away as a second chance draw, with winners drawn from the physical barrel. Total prizes must not exceed $25,000.

All vouchers won are to be claimed on awarded date.

Draw Prizes

 

  • A total of $250,000 in cash and prizes will be drawn during the promotional period.
  • “Explore Your Backyard” prizes have been supplied by Luxury Lodges of Australia and Qantas. The City Golf Club will not be held liable for any further expenses including those resulting from personal injury, cancellations by third parties or failure to book or attend.
  • The major prize will be inclusive of one Volkswagon Amarok V6 W580s, 12 months registration, and fees included in transferring the car into the winner’s name. The Camel Campers trailer comes with 12 months registration and fees included in transferring the trailer into the winner’s name. The City Golf Club will not be held liable for any further inclusions.
  • Managements decision on all matters is final.
